I work primarily with digital cameras, using videography and photography as my main mediums. My art is rooted in the Christian faith, which shapes not only what I create but how I approach the creative space in general. My goal is not simply to represent what it means to be a believer but to reframe it for a culture and an industry that often choose to hide it.
I consider my art to be a house of mirrors. My desire is that when you enter, you do not only see my work, but you see yourself. You see versions of yourself you have either forgotten or refused to acknowledge. There is the thrill of recognizing yourself, the discomfort of seeing your reflection in every direction, the excitement of navigation, and the relief once you make it to the end. With every turn, you find a fragment of your own story.
Through my photography and filmmaking, I am able to convey my faith, self-reflection, and empathy in a format that is easily consumable. Storytelling is the heartbeat of my body of work. When it is authentic, you can feel it. My influences are directors and screenwriters such as Ryan Coogler, Ian Brennan, and Dallas Jenkins, who prioritize meaning, intention, and purpose within their work. My work strengthens my ability to share my vision and reach diverse audiences while remaining true to who I am.
